With 11 more total picks at their disposal, expect Pittsburgh to be aggressive tonight to get its top choices. The Steelers embarrassingly missed out on WR Makai Lemon yesterday when the Philadelphia Eagles jumped in front of them while Pittsburgh was on the phone with Lemon. GM Omar Khan won’t let that happen again. Round two still boasts plenty of excellent options for the Steelers. Here are the top remaining second-round targets for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Top Remaining Second-Round Targets For The Pittsburgh Steelers

1. Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

Germie Bernard has long been my pick for Pittsburgh at 53. The talented wideout from Alabama, along with DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr, would give the Steelers a lethal trio of WRs. After missing out on Lemon in round one and passing on Omar Cooper Jr, it would make sense that Pittsburgh is looking to add A WR tonight. Germie Bernard would be an outstanding choice.

2. CJ Allen, LB, Georgia

Frankly, ot would have been better if Steelers had drafted CJ Allen in round one than liked the Iheanachor. Allen is a true three-down linebacker who fits the mold of terrific Steelers’ linebackers. After a productive career at Georgia, Allen is ready to become an instant force in the NFL. He would provide fantastic value at pick 53. If Bernard is off the board when Pittsburgh is on the clock, there should be no hesitation in choosing Allen. CJ Allen has the talent and football IQ to be the leader of the next generation of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense.

3. Gabe Jacas, EDGE, Illinois

T.J. Watt is probably on the downside of his career. Alex Highsmith may be used as trade bait over the next two days. The Steelers would be very wise to add another young edge rusher to the mix. Gabe Jacas is a wonderful option. After amassing 19 sacks over his last two years at Illinois, Jacas is pro-ready and will contribute immediately. The Steelers have youngsters Nick Herbig and Jack Sawyer chomping at the bit for larger roles. Pittsburgh can afford to let Jacas develop even more before taking over as a starter. Gabe Jacas will look outstanding in the Black and Gold.

4. Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

It’s not often that a top-10 talent is still available in the second round, yet Jermod McCoy is still on the board. If not for a devastating 2024 ACL injury, the talented cornerback would have heard his name called early last night. Concerns over the injury have lingered, leading to McCoy falling completely out of round one. McCoy would be a high-risk, high-reward pick, but could be an absolute shutdown corner in the NFL. The Steelers already have Joey Porter Jr and Jamel Dean as their starting CBs, allowing them to be patient with McCoy until he is fully ready. Jermod McCoy may wind up the steal of the 2026 NFL Draft.

5. Gennings Dunker, Guard/Tackle, Iowa

The Steelers weren’t able to land Penn State guard Vega Ioane last night, and could be looking to strengthen their interior line tonight. Gennings Dunker would fit right in with the Steelers’ culture. It would not be a surprise if Dunker quickly became a fan favorite in Pittsburgh. Dunker plays with a nastiness that will endear him to Pittsburgh. A true “mauler”, Dunker would be a solid option for the Steelers and comes with a high floor.

Who do you want to see the Steelers draft in the second round? There is a ton of talent still on the board, so Pittsburgh will be able to add another quality player tonight. It wouldn’t be a shock if they wind up with multiple picks in round two, as Omar Khan can easily make a move up if he wants. If Khan comes out of tonight with any of these five players, Steelers Nation should be very pleased.

After the surprising selection of tackle Max Iheanachor in round one, the Steelers come into round two armed…

[2055
4955,32203,7,23926,34761,26718,7489,6,520,57,2376,2360,426
0":"post-873867","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-pittsburgh-steelers","8":"tag-2026-nfl-draft","9":"tag-cj-allen","10":"tag-football","11":"tag-gabe-jacas","12":"tag-gennings-dunker","13":"tag-germie-bernard","14":"tag-jermod-mccoy","15":"tag-nfl","16":"tag-pittsburgh","17":"tag-pittsburgh-steelers","18":"tag-pittsburgh-steelers-draft","19":"tag-pittsburghsteelers","20":"tag-steelers
["GET
