Parker &#038; CB Davison Igbinosun: &#8216;He passed all the tests&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Why &#8216;IGB&#8217; has the tools to succeed and &#8220;passed all the tests&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The addition of Igbinosun also gives the Bills a unique flavor of defensive back they&#8217;ve searched for: a tall, fast and physical corner.<\/p>\n<p>At 6-foot-2, 191 pounds, <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/interactive\/the-beast-2026\/player\/davison-igbinosun-ohio-state-cornerback\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Athletic\u2019s Dane Brugler<\/a> described &#8216;IGB&#8217; as a player with &#8220;speed and competitive edge that NFL coaches covet in press-man schemes.&#8221; He ran a 4.45 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine and has a 78 \u215d wing span.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The best thing he does is press,&#8221; Beane said.<\/p>\n<p>The Bills did extensive work on Igbinosun and loved what they learned, giving them the confidence to <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalobills.com\/news\/bills-trade-into-second-round-to-get-no-62-overall-pick-from-denver-broncos-select-cb-davison-igbinosun\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">trade up into the late second round<\/a> to take him.<\/p>\n<p>Beane went to Ohio State&#8217;s Pro Day in late March to scout several prospects, &#8216;IGB&#8217; being one of them. A natural press-man technician, Beane wanted to see how the Second-Team All-Big Ten Conference player handled snaps when not in press coverage.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He checked the box,&#8221; Beane stated. &#8220;The multitude of people that I talked to there just raved about his football character, his competitiveness, his love of ball. Great teammate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Buffalo also brought Igbinosun in on a visit during the pre-draft process where he reunited with former Buckeye teammate Jordan Hancock.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[Hancock] is close with him and raved about him,&#8221; Beane shared.<\/p>\n<p>Igbinosun also improved on one of the major concerns on his scouting report from 2024 to 2025.
