The Miami Dolphins<\/a> have made a few defensive selections in this year’s draft class, with the linebacker room being completely reshaped with Jacob Rodriguez and Trey Moore<\/a> already coming to Miami.<\/p>\n

Then, as NFL insider Jordan Schultz<\/a> reports, the Dolphins have selected Pittsburgh<\/a> linebacker Kyle Louis, who was the top remaining prospect on the board and is a complete steal for the Dolphins.<\/p>\n

But why is he a steal for Miami? Louis is one of the best picks of the draft, as Schultz shared one NFL executive’s insight that has high praise for this selection.<\/p>\n

Why Kyle Louis is a steal for Miami at No. 138<\/p>\n

“One executive just now on new Dolphins LB Kyle Louis: ‘One of the steals of the whole draft,'” Schultz reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

Fans are always hoping for their team to get a steal in the NFL Draft, and the Dolphins just got one in Louis, the standout linebacker who has a lot more versatility than the normal linebacker.<\/p>\n

For Pittsburgh this past season in college, Louis played in the box, along the defensive line, and also played in the slot as well.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker, who is just 22 years old, had a great combine. He ran an impressive 4.53-second 40-yard dash with a 39.5 vertical jump, a 10’9” broad jump, and showed some agility with a 6.97-second 3-cone drill and a 4.26 20-yard shuttle.<\/p>\n

Louis was a highly-touted prospect, and easily could’ve gone a bit earlier in the draft. Instead, he slipped down the board, and the Dolphins were able to select him at No. 138 overall.<\/p>\n

Jeff Hafley is getting another defender in this year’s draft class, and this might be one of the more fascinating selections with his upside and versatility.<\/p>\n
