The Indianapolis Colts appear to have had quite a successful<\/a> 2026 NFL draft. General manager Chris Ballard found pieces at positions of need, and that was throughout the draft. Even without a first-round selection (and maybe because of it), Indy excelled.<\/p>\n

But following the draft came the truly crazy part. Each team has a chance to take its turn in selecting players at a certain point in the draft, but what follows is the frenzy of trying to scoop up undrafted free agents, those players potentially worthy of making a roster but didn’t get chosen.<\/p>\n

For a highly valued UDFA, many teams might be fighting to sign the player. It’s a free-for-all, and the best negotiator wins. The positive part is that Indianapolis won a bunch of those and has continued its seemingly epic 2026 draft by making a flurry of moves after it.<\/p>\n

Running list of Indianapolis Colts undrafted free agent signings<\/p>\n

Below are those undrafted free agents who have been confirmed to have signed with Indianapolis. The list will likely continue to grow and change, as some players might be let go and another UDFA added. The NFL can be a tough business, unfortunately. <\/p>\n

Austin Brown, safety, Wisconsin – SOURCE<\/a><\/p>\n

The Colts took a safety early in the draft in the person of LSU’s AJ Haulcy<\/a>, but what’s another? The 5’11” and 200-pound Badger hasn’t learned to take the ball away, but he is pretty good against the run. He will need to be that to play in Lou Anarumo’s system. <\/p>\n

He likely will begin as a special teamer, if he can make the roster. But if he learns to take the ball away a bit more? Watch out.<\/p>\n

Jayden Ballard, WR, Wisconsin – SOURCE<\/a><\/p>\n

Another Badger that has at least been invited to Indy’s minicamp if not actually signed. He has also been invited to the Tennessee Titans’ camp, so we might be battling for AFC South supremacy with Ballard.<\/p>\n

He is 6’1″ and 200 pounds with meh ability to get open deep. He isn’t Alec Pierce, in other words, but he could turn out to be something akin to Michael Pittman, albeit a smaller version.<\/p>\n
