Being an NFL rookie can be overwhelming, as new 49ers cornerback Ephesians Prysock<\/a> soon might learn.<\/p>\n

But Prysock, whom San Francisco selected No. 139 overall<\/a> in the 2026 NFL Draft, has an advantage — he already knows two of his teammates in the Bay. He played with the 49ers’ No. 127 pick, offensive lineman Carver Willis<\/a>, at the University of Washington, and Prysock also goes way back with fellow defensive back Deommodore Lenoir.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, actually my two older brothers played in high school with him, so I know him a little bit,” Prysock told reporters after he was drafted, when it was noticed both he and Lenoir are from Los Angeles. “I’m pretty familiar with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prysock, 23, is three years younger than Lenoir and went to Bishop Alemany High School in the Mission Hills community, where he was a four-star recruit. Lenoir and Prysock’s brothers, meanwhile, went to Salesian High School in Boyle Heights.<\/p>\n

Lenoir certainly remembers Prysock, as “The Hyena” proudly took to Instagram after the 49ers made their pick to celebrate.<\/p>\n

Prysock can learn plenty from Lenoir, who is the 49ers’ top cornerback and started all 17 games during the 2026 NFL season.<\/p>\n
