The Miami Dolphins<\/a> added 13 new players in the 2026 NFL draft and have reportedly agreed to deals with several undrafted free agents soon after.<\/p>\n

Now, as the Dolphins<\/a> turn their attention to their offseason program and the preparation for their 2026 campaign, they’re making a pair of changes to their front office.<\/p>\n

According to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones<\/a>, Miami has parted ways with senior personnel executive Champ Kelly, and CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported<\/a> that the team is hiring Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> senior personnel executive Josh Scobey.<\/p>\n

Kelly played at Kentucky from 1998-2001 before joining the UIF’s Lexington Horsemen, where he played, coached and served as general manager at different points. He entered the NFL with the Denver Broncos<\/a> in 2007 and had stints with the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> and Chicago Bears<\/a> before joining the Dolphins in 2025. After Chris Grier’s firing, he was named interim general manager.<\/p>\n

Scobey was a sixth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals<\/a> in the 2002 NFL draft out of Kansas State. As a running back and returner, he also played for the Seattle Seahawks<\/a> and Buffalo Bills<\/a> during his time in the NFL and had a stint with the UFL’s Las Vegas Locomotives. He worked for the Arizona Cardinals from 2010-23 and joined the Jaguars in 2024.<\/p>\n
