After the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> selected Vanderbilt tight end Eli Stowers<\/a> in the second round<\/a> of the 2026 NFL draft, the Commodores shared a video of the moment Stowers got “the call” from Philly’s draft room.<\/p>\n

Somebody who attended Stowers’ draft party, perhaps a teammate, friend or family member, can be seen in the background of the video wearing a Denver Broncos<\/a> hat. Stowers, of course, was heavily connected to the Broncos<\/a> leading up to the draft, but the Eagles<\/a> picked him at No. 54<\/a>, and Denver was not scheduled to pick until No. 62 (they eventually traded back<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The person wearing the Broncos<\/a> hat can be seen soon after the video begins:<\/p>\n

Denver fans and pundits were quick to spot the hat on social media:<\/p>\n

After trading out of the second round, the Broncos selected Texas A&M defensive lineman\u00a0Tyler Onyedim<\/a>\u00a0in the third round at pick No. 66.\u00a0The Eagles are not among Denver’s 2026 opponents<\/a>, so they won’t play Stowers during the regular season this fall, but they will undoubtedly face off against the tight end someday down the road.<\/p>\n
