PITTSBURGH \u2014 University of Pittsburgh linebacker Kyle Louis is the first Panther off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft <\/a>after being selected No. 138 overall in the fourth round by the Miami Dolphins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Louis compiled 81 tackles, 8\u00bd tackles for loss, three sacks, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two interceptions in 2025, where he started 11 games as a junior.<\/p>\n

The year prior, Louis was an All-American by The Sporting News. He was the first Pitt sophomore defensive player to earn that accolade since Hugh Green in 1978. He was also an Associated Press All-American, earning second-team honors. Louis made all 13 starts, racking up 101 total tackles, including 15\u00bd tackles for loss, seven sacks, and four interceptions.<\/p>\n

Louis is from East Orange, New Jersey. He is 6-foot tall and weighs 220 pounds. Louis turned in a 4.53 40-yard dash.<\/p>\n
