The first practice of a new season is always filled with hope and excitement, and that was certainly the case for the Green Bay Packers<\/a> on Wednesday. The team began its OTA practices, which will run for a few weeks before mandatory minicamp brings a close to the spring workout program.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the first practice of the year also brings a chance to get early impressions about how the team sees its depth chart shaping up, even as the pads are nowhere in sight. That means it\u2019s overreaction season! <\/p>\n

Sean Rhyan at center? That could mean something! Or maybe it means nothing and it\u2019s just what the Packers need to do because Elgton Jenkins isn\u2019t in the building right now. Matthew Golden taking snaps with the ones? Maybe he\u2019s going to be a day-one starter! Or maybe the team just wants to make sure he has a handful of opportunities to start developing chemistry with Jordan Love.<\/p>\n
