The Miami Dolphins<\/a> took six players in the first three rounds and two days of the 2026 NFL draft, but one of the most intriguing players in their rookie class is fourth-round pick Kyle Louis.<\/p>\n

Louis, 22, played four years at Pittsburgh<\/a>, earning All-ACC honors twice and All-American honors once. In 37 games, he recorded 201 tackles, 10 sacks, six interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.<\/p>\n

After the selection, Pittsburgh head coach Pat Narduzzi congratulated<\/a> his former player and gave Dolphins<\/a> fans some insight into what Louis will bring with him to South Florida.<\/p>\n

“He is everything you look for in a player,” Narduzzi wrote. “Coach Hafley and the Dolphins aren\u2019t just getting a great player\u2014they\u2019re getting a competitor who elevates everyone in the locker room. Through hard work, he grew from a talented young player to the leader of our team!<\/p>\n

Playing both safety and linebacker, Louis will likely be on the field early and often for the Dolphins in his rookie season. There’s even a chance he’s named a starting safety out of camp if he shows up and shows out during their offseason program and in the preseason.<\/p>\n
