It appears former NFL reporter Dianna Russini has a job waiting for her when she\u2019s ready.<\/p>\n

Russini has been embroiled in a scandal<\/a> involving New England Patriots<\/a> head coach Mike Vrabel in which the pair were caught having an affair.<\/p>\n

Russini denied any wrongdoing when photos of her and Vrabel hugging and holding hands first surfaced, but Vrabel has since publicly admitted<\/a> to his mistake.<\/p>\n

Russini resigned from her position at The Athletic<\/a> and figures to have a very difficult time landing another NFL reporter gig with a major outlet.<\/p>\n

But that doesn\u2019t mean she won\u2019t have any job offers.<\/p>\n

The host of the \u201cStugotz & Company\u201d podcast<\/a>, Jon \u201cStugotz\u201d Weiner, has stated he would hire Russini if she wanted to work for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did say if the Athletic fired her, I would hire her,\u201d he said. \u201cThey didn\u2019t fire her. She stepped down from The Athletic, and the offer holds forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Dianna Russini decides one day, three months from now, a year from now, two years from now, that she wants to get back into this game, she has a place right here,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Russini was a regular guest on \u201cThe Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz\u201d<\/a> show over the years, so that\u2019s where their relationship stems from.<\/p>\n

Weiner has said he remains friends with Russini and will always be there for her, even in the wake of the scandal with Vrabel.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a journalist, I\u2019m a talk show host,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd when my real friends fall on some difficult times, I like to support my friends and talk to them and be someone that listens.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s next for Dianna Russini?\"\"<\/p>\n

Russini has stayed out of the public eye since news of her affair with Vrabel broke.<\/p>\n

She posted her resignation letter to The Athletic on social media but hasn\u2019t said a word since.<\/p>\n

Russini is also no longer on social media after deleting her X account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As far as her future as an NFL reporter is concerned, Russini\u2019s chances of landing another gig like the one she had at The Athletic, and ESPN before that, are extremely slim.<\/p>\n

Her relationship with Vrabel broke clear ethical standards in the world of journalism and no outlet figures to be willing to take on all the baggage Russini would be bringing with her because of that and the controversy with Vrabel.<\/p>\n
