The quarterback layer is the one that everyone talks about, because there’s a lot of names in this class, right?<\/p>\n

Arch Manning, Dante Moore, Drew Meschemaker, Darian Mensah, DJ Lagway, Lenorris Sellers, right?<\/p>\n

I c- I could go on and on.<\/p>\n

All of these what if types of quarterbacks there.<\/p>\n

But it’s important to remember, like many other classes, the quarterback class is just gonna be a rollercoaster, and a lot of these guys are even gonna go back to college because NFL, or NIL is the way that it is.<\/p>\n

But the reason why I love this class so much, even in its infancy, is because of the positions outside of quarterback.<\/p>\n

Offensive line looks strong again, wide receiver looks amazing, pass rushers galore.<\/p>\n

Leonard Moore, the cornerback from Notre Dame, looks like he might be another Patrick Surtain, right?<\/p>\n

So it’s not just the quarterback.<\/p>\n

Everybody wants to talk about the quarterbacks, and I get it, it drives all sorts of conversations, but to me, the reason why I really love this 2027 setup is I’m going through, you know, the way too early top 10s and top 15s and first rounds, and it’s just littered with premium position players who I’ve seen, even from a glance, you know, haven’t necessarily put them under the NFL draft evaluation microscope, but just watching college football, you go, “Man, I c- I cannot wait to evaluate this guy, you know, under a pro lens to see what I thi- might think of him as a player,” you know, a first-round projection, second-round projection, top 10 projection, something like that.<\/p>\n

So to me, the reason why this class is so strong is, yes, it’s the quarterback conversation, but beyond that, so many premium positions are there for the taking, I think, in 2027<\/p>\n
