{"id":885816,"date":"2026-05-08T15:09:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T15:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/885816\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T15:09:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T15:09:18","slug":"aaron-rodgers-steelers-deal-gm-denies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/885816\/","title":{"rendered":"Aaron Rodgers Steelers Deal: GM Denies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the Steelers\u2019 General Manager, the organization doesn\u2019t know where Aaron Rodgers is.<\/p>\n<p>Omar Khan tells Chris Mack on Westwood One Sports that he doesn\u2019t know where the 4-time MVP quarterback is.<\/p>\n<p>The Fan Morning show reported Thursday that Rodgers was expected to be in Pittsburgh this weekend, with the expectation that a new deal would get time.<\/p>\n<p>Khan wouldn\u2019t confirm that Rodgers is in town.<\/p>\n<p>After Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley\u2019s report, national NFL insiders like Ian Rapoport and other also reported that Rodgers is expected in town this weekend. <\/p>\n<p>Rapoport <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RapSheet\/status\/2052722919923384501\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">said <\/a>on &#8220;Good Morning Football&#8221; Friday that \u201cfinality is coming for the former and likely future quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rapoport says Rodgers is expected to spend the weekend in Pittsburgh and is \u201clikely to play\u201d though a deal is not done.<\/p>\n<p>The NFL Network insider also said Rodgers has kept a line of communication open with his returning and new wide receivers this offseason.<\/p>\n<p>Could Khan be trying to set up a smokescreen to throw the scent off Rodgers being in Pittsburgh?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, but with Aaron Rodgers, you never know. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"According to the Steelers\u2019 General Manager, the organization doesn\u2019t know where Aaron Rodgers is.
