Former Washington Huskies<\/a> standouts Ephesians Prysock<\/a> and offensive lineman Carver Willis became the next two members of UW’s seven-player 2026 NFL draft class to sign their rookie contracts as teams open rookie minicamp across the league.<\/p>\n

Willis (No. 127 overall) and Prysock (No. 139 overall) were both selected by the San Francisco 49ers<\/a> in the fourth round of last month’s draft, took to the field on Friday wearing No. 74 and No. 41, respectively, for their first taste of pro football.<\/p>\n

The former Kansas State transfer Willis will begin his NFL career at left guard for the 49ers. His rookie contract is expected to be around $5.4 million\u00a0on a four-year deal. Just a few picks later, Prysock gets a $5.1 million deal over four years, according to Over The Cap.<\/p>\n

The duo joins Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>‘ seventh-round pick, edge Zach Durfee, and Cleveland Browns<\/a>‘ second-round pick, wide receiver Denzel Boston, as the four players from UW taken in last month’s draft to sign their first deal in the NFL.<\/p>\n

Prysock started 26 games for the Huskies<\/a> during his two seasons with UW after he began his career at Arizona<\/a> with Jedd Fisch and secondary coach John Richardson.<\/p>\n

His fellow starting cornerback, Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>‘ third-round pick Tacario Davis<\/a>, is one of only two draft picks yet to sign with the AFC North organization, along with second-round pick Cashius Howell. Davis was assigned No. 20 by the Bengals as the team began rookie minicamp Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Along with Davis, two other UW draft picks, Denver Broncos<\/a>‘ fourth-round pick Jonah Coleman<\/a> and Atlanta Falcons<\/a>‘ sixth-round pick Anterio Thompson, remain unsigned.<\/p>\n

Thompson, the No. 208 pick by the Falcons, is one of two draft picks by the team yet to sign, along with second-round pick Avieon Terrell. The former Huskies’ defensive lineman has been assigned No. 98 by the Falcons, worn previously by 2007 first-round pick Jamaal Anderson and former standout outside linebacker Takkarist McKinley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Coleman, one of three Broncos’ draft picks not to sign before the start of rookie minicamp, who will wear No. 20, is reportedly negotiating over two years of injury protection, according to a report from Chris Tomasson of the Denver-Gazette.<\/p>\n

Boston, who gets to keep his No. 12 from his days at UW now that he’s embarked on his professional career in Cleveland, signed with seven other Browns’ draft picks after being taken in the second round (No. 39 pick) in last month’s draft. According to Over The Cap, his projected contract is $12,385,596 for an average annual value of just over $3 million.<\/p>\n

In a unique bit of fate, current UW Senior Director of Player Engagement Syndric Steptoe also wore No. 12 for the Browns during his one season with the team in 2008.<\/p>\n
