The Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> will look to change their fortunes this year after a failed 2025 regular-season campaign saw the team fall well short of its goal to earn a fourth consecutive Super Bowl berth.<\/p>\n

While some fans are already considering Kansas City<\/a>‘s dynasty to be dead \u2014 given the poor results the team achieved last year \u2014 veteran NFL analyst Kirk Herbstreit isn’t so sure that the Chiefs are ready to exit the spotlight.<\/p>\n

In an appearance on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ this week, Herbstreit laid out his expectations for Kansas City in 2026 and made it clear that he thinks the Chiefs will “come out swinging.”<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if the Chiefs will be able to return to form in 2026, but to hear Herbstreit tell it, fans in Kansas City have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the team’s trajectory.<\/p>\n
