Following Wednesday’s announcement of the international matchups, Bookies.com’s Bill Speros broke down the mileage each team will travel this season, with the San Francisco 49ers set to eclipse the record for most miles traveled in a single season, coming in at 38,105 miles. San Francisco has games in Australia and Mexico this year, along with their 15 domestic games.

The top five teams traveling the most mileage are the 49ers, the Los Angeles Rams (34,847), the Houston Texans (28,470), the Dallas Cowboys (27,980), and the New England Patriots (27,590), all of which will have games outside the United States in 2026. The Miami Dolphins will travel the sixth-most miles in the league this year, 27,568 miles, and they will do it all domestically.

Miami’s schedule always includes high mileage totals, coming out of South Florida and including annual trips to Buffalo, New York; Foxboro, Massachusetts; and East Rutherford, New Jersey as part of their AFC East division schedule. This year, they will also travel to Denver, Colorado; Las Vegas, Nevada; Green Bay, Wisconsin; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Indianapolis, Indiana; and San Francisco, California.

Speros points out that the top six teams, including Miami’s domestic-only schedule, will travel more miles than the 24,901 it would take to circumnavigate the Earth at the equator.

The Carolina Panthers will have the fewest miles traveled this year at just 8,740. The Cleveland Browns will also remain below 10,000 miles, finishing the year with just 9.073 miles traveled.

The NFL is set to release the full schedule on Thursday night. The Dolphins could reduce their travel time if they have back-to-back games at distant locations. A trip with Las Vegas, Denver, and/or San Francisco on consecutive weeks could allow the team to stay out west, rather than flying back to Miami between those games.

[2049
217,7,216,251,15851,2087,6
post-890208","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-miami-dolphins","tag-dolphins","tag-football","tag-miami","tag-miami-dolphins","tag-miami-dolphins-schedule","tag-miamidolphins","tag-nfl
["GET
