{"id":895041,"date":"2026-05-19T00:51:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T00:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/895041\/"},"modified":"2026-05-19T00:51:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T00:51:16","slug":"cam-skattebo-injury-update-giants-rb-says-week-1-ill-be-ready-to-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/895041\/","title":{"rendered":"Cam Skattebo injury update: Giants\u2019 RB says \u2018Week 1, I\u2019ll be ready to go\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Perhaps it isn\u2019t something to be alarmed about yet, but New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo indicated during Monday\u2019s Town Hall event at the Bergen Theatre that he isn\u2019t as far along in his return from last season\u2019s devastating leg injury as might have been hoped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup _1teeyfa8 ls9zuh1\">\u201cI\u2019m a little ways off, not too far, but I\u2019ll be ready to go,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/evan_b\/status\/2056521818626822252\" rel=\"nofollow\">Skattebo said<\/a>. \u201cWeek 1, I\u2019ll be ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Skattebo sustained a dislocated ankle and other injuries in Week 8 last season against the Philadelphia Eagles. At John Harbaugh\u2019s introductory press conference, GM Joe Schoen had expressed a belief that Skattebo would be on the field this spring.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cHe\u2019ll be fine,\u201d Schoen said. \u201cHe\u2019ll actually be prepared for the offseason program on April 6th.
