Another Clemson target has come off the board.<\/p>\n
Three-star cornerback Brandon Leavell (Goodpasture Christian, TN) announced a commitment to Tennessee late Monday, choosing the Volunteers over Clemson, Florida State, Florida and NC State. <\/p>\n
Each of the five finalists had been scheduled to get official visits, but Leavell felt now was the time to shut things down.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know exactly where I want to be,\u201d he told The Clemson Insider. \u201cGod is leading me in the right direction so I feel ready.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 6-foot-1 corner just picked up his offer from the Tigers after an unofficial visit earlier this month. That visit came together after cornerbacks coach Mike Reed made a stop at his school early on during the contact period. Reed was back at his high school last week.<\/p>\n
The Tigers already hold a commitment from one corner in the 2027 class, with three-star legacy recruit Christian Chancellor announcing a verbal pledge last summer. Four-star Jayden Aparicio-Bailey and three-star Bryant Robinson are cornerbacks scheduled to be at the big official visit weekend, May 29-31.<\/p>\n
