The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> will enjoy a second-straight international game<\/a> this upcoming season, which may become part of the new norm following a major schedule change approved by the NFL.<\/p>\n

According to multiple reports, the NFL has announced that the cap on international games has increased from eight to 10, excluding a Jaguars<\/a> game at Wembley Stadium in London, which could bring the total number of games to 11 in a season.<\/p>\n

Additionally, another rule was passed in which teams can no longer block specific home games from being played internationally, which reportedly played into the Steelers<\/a>‘ 2026 schedule twice with the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> and New Orleans Saints<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Steelers history, the team has played in two international games, one in London, England, and one in Dublin, Ireland, both of which were against the Minnesota Vikings. In 2026, the Steelers are set to face the Saints<\/a> in the NFL’s first-ever game in Paris, France.<\/p>\n
