The Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> were one of the NFL<\/a>\u2019s most active teams this offseason after missing the playoffs in each of the last three years.<\/p>\n

Cincinnati entered the offseason needing major improvements on the defensive side of the ball, and the organization responded by spending the fourth-most cap space in the league to address those issues.<\/p>\n

The Bengals acquired Dexter Lawrence<\/a> in a trade, signed top free-agent safety Bryan Cook<\/a>, and added pass rushers Boye Mafe<\/a> and Jonathan Allen<\/a> \u2014 all moves quarterback Joe Burrow<\/a> reportedly approved of.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the most talented roster that we\u2019ve had since I\u2019ve been here,\u201d Burrow said Tuesday.<\/a> \u201cWe\u2019ve got everything we need in that locker room, we just got to go make it happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Burrow not only praised the roster moves but also confidently predicted success for Cincinnati during his media session.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the number one thing is you have to go win, and we\u2019re going to go win a lot of games this year and play great and win a Super Bowl,\u201d Burrow said. \u201cEverything that comes with that comes with that part of it too, including playing internationally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Concern began to grow toward the end of last season about Burrow\u2019s desire to remain in Cincinnati after the Bengals selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in 2020. That created a crucial stretch for the Bengals\u2019 front office this offseason, and the organization has seemingly delivered with its roster moves.<\/p>\n

More importantly, though, as Burrow mentioned, it is now up to the players and coaches to translate that talent into a winning product on the field each week.<\/p>\n
