(KLKN) \u2014 Former Nebraska football tight end Heinrich Haarberg signed with the Carolina Panthers, the Huskers announced on social media.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HKHaarberg10?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">@HKHaarberg10<\/a> has signed with the Carolina Panthers \u270d\ufe0f <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aqGoS71t0e\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/aqGoS71t0e<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Nebraska Football (@HuskerFootball) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HuskerFootball\/status\/2057591758771331319?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">May 21, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Haarberg spent five years at Nebraska, both as a quarterback and tight end.<\/p>\n<p>As a tight end in 2025, the Kearney native hauled in eight catches for 52 yards and one touchdown, while also carrying the ball nine times for 9 yards.<\/p>\n<p>Though Haarberg didn\u2019t show much at the tight end position during the season, his size and athleticism were put on display at Nebraska\u2019s Pro Day.<\/p>\n<p>He ran a 4.55-second 40-yard dash and a 10-foot-8-inch broad jump, both elite grades according to Relative Athletic Score.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Heinrich Haarberg is a TE prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored a 9.47 RAS out of a possible 10.00.
