The Miami Dolphins<\/a> and new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan continue to churn the team\u2019s roster in a continued effort to rebuild the franchise. On Thursday, the organization parted ways with two players while adding two more.<\/p>\n

Offensive lineman Braeden Daniels<\/a> and tight end Jalin Conyers were waived, while running back Carlos Washington Jr. and offensive tackle Marques Cox were signed.<\/p>\n

Daniels \u2014 formerly a fourth round pick for the Washington Commanders<\/a> in the 2023 NFL Draft \u2014 never played a snap for the Dolphins, but spent time on the team\u2019s practice squad in 2025. Conyers was an undrafted free agent signing of the Dolphins following the 2025 NFL Draft, but spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve.<\/p>\n

Cox was also an undrafted free agent last year. He spent time with the Denver Broncos<\/a>\u2019 and the Arizona Cardinals<\/a>\u2019 practice squads in 2025.<\/p>\n

Washington Jr. has played in two career games in the NFL \u2014 both with the Atlanta Falcons<\/a> who signed him as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n

Washington Jr. finished his collegiate career at Southeastern Louisiana (2022) after spending the previous five seasons at New Hampshire (2017-21).
