The Seattle Seahawks<\/a> will enter training camp with continuity across the offensive line. For the second straight season, the starting lineup is expected to feature, from left to right, Charles Cross<\/a>, Grey Zabel<\/a>, Jalen Sundell<\/a>, Anthony Bradford<\/a>, and Abe Lucas. If there’s any competition at all, rookie guard Beau Stephens<\/a> might push Bradford for the right guard gig<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Sundell has established himself as the unquestioned starter at center. That leaves backup Olu Oluwatimi<\/a>, who was once viewed as the future starter, in no-man’s land. Oluwatimi could be traded this offseason as a result, according to a recent report by ESPN’s Brady Henderson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“One potential trade candidate to watch this summer will be center Olu Oluwatimi,” Henderson wrote. “The 2023 fifth-round pick is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is slated to again back up Jalen Sundell, who beat him out for the job last summer.”<\/p>\n

If the Seahawks trade Oluwatimi, they’d have to cross-train someone to snap behind Sundell. Perhaps that would be 2024 third-round pick Christian Haynes<\/a>, who is another backup offensive lineman falling by the wayside. Oluwatimi has value to the Seahawks, but trading him could ensure John Schneider gets something for a player in the final year of his rookie contract.<\/p>\n
