The New England Patriots<\/a> have long been linked to A.J. Brown<\/a>, and as June 1 approaches, new teams are emerging as contenders to land him as well.<\/p>\n

For the past few weeks, the Patriots had been the only team seemingly in the race to land Brown<\/a>, and many assumed that he was destined to be a Patriot. However, recent reports suggest that the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> will listen to more offers and try to drive up the price for the star receiver. The Los Angeles Rams<\/a>, Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>, Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> and Buffalo Bills<\/a> have all been teams that have been linked to Brown in some way.<\/p>\n

However, Sports Illustrated’s NFL insider Albert Breer<\/a> commented on the chances for those teams to actually land him.<\/p>\n

“As for where he\u2019s going, it always made sense for the Eagles to wait to ‘agree to terms’ until the last minute because things can change elsewhere (and already have with the Rice situation in Kansas City<\/a>),” wrote Breer on Tuesday. “But the Chiefs, Chargers, Bills and Rams all had their shot at this already, and I think the final result will be what everyone\u2019s treating as a fait accompli, and that\u2019s Brown reuniting with Mike Vrabel in New England.”<\/p>\n

The Chiefs’ situation surrounding Rashee Rice<\/a> does make them an interesting team to watch for Brown. However, the Rams would probably find it difficult to trade for Brown and offload Davante Adams<\/a> at this point in the offseason. The Bills were likely contenders early in the offseason, but ended up getting D.J. Moore<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Chargers could be a contender to land him, but there has been very little buzz surrounding their interest in Brown. Obviously, things could change, but Breer thinks Brown is still bound to be a Patriot.<\/p>\n
