McClendon earned All-American and All-Missouri Valley Football Conference First Team honors in 2025 after recording 60 tackles (41 solo), one sack, two interceptions, 11 pass breakups (tied the school\u2019s single-season record), a forced fumble and a blocked kick in 12 games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Don\u2019t rule out a potential practice squad opportunity in New Orleans or even another shot before the preseason begins for the 23-year-old defensive back.
