Texas football head coach Steve Sarkisian has been vocal so far this summer.<\/p>\n
That includes comments against Ole Miss\u2019 academic standards and a shot at the Big 12 in which he claimed the Longhorns\u2019 second-string could win-out against the conference, among others.<\/p>\n

Now, the sixth-year head coach believes college football\u2019s heart and soul is at stake.<\/p>\n
At least for all but one program each season\u2014those that don\u2019t win a College Football Playoff National Championship.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s part of the problem in college athletics. Everybody is chasing one end goal and we\u2019re losing sight of the small victories along the way. We live in an era of college football that\u2019s playoff or bust,\u201d Sarkisian said, according to Sports Illustrated.<\/p>\n
