The Detroit Lions<\/a>‘ first OTA of 2026 kicked off on May 27. There are some players with injury concerns coming out of the 2025 season to keep an eye on. I compiled a list of players to watch, along with their OTA activity expectations.<\/p>\n

Malcolm Rodriguez, LB: Is he back to form after ACL?<\/p>\n

ACL – November 2024<\/p>\n

Rodriguez had a slightly delayed return from his ACL due to a second knee surgery. He returned 12-months post on November 23, 2025.<\/p>\n

Most of his time last season was spent on special teams. His defensive workload was sparse until the final game when he played 73% of the snaps. Some knee residuals are still possible.<\/p>\n

OTA expectations: Full activity for Rodriguez.<\/p>\n
