With that being said, one “veteran” receiver could end up being a more exciting and productive player in 2026 than many currently predict in Todd Monken’s offense.

The two rookies, Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion, have been excellent throughout the first week of Cleveland’s voluntary OTAs, though Concepcion had some early drop issues.

Everyone’s been infatuated with Boston’s size (6’4”, 215 lbs.) and Concepcion’s quick-twitch ability, but one of the most overlooked players at the position could be in line for a fairly large workload in 2026 compared to last season.

Second-year receiver Isaiah Bond showed elite speed and a good feel for the game as a rookie in 2025, and he provided the team with a legitimate deep threat, which is something that they were searching for over the past few seasons.

He was surprisingly good as a short to intermediate route-runner as well, being able to create separation on quick slants, digs, and different mesh routes. Though he’s on the smaller side at 5’11”, 180 lbs., Bond’s been pretty durable so far, and he’s shown that he can take a hit and get right back up. Durability and playmaking ability will be key in Cleveland’s new offense, so Bond already gets a good grade in that department heading into 2026.

Though Jerry Jeudy, Denzel Boston, and KC Concepcion are “projected” to be the target leaders at wide receiver this season, seeing Isaiah Bond coming out of nowhere and ending up as one of the top producers is a realistic outcome after the type of year he had as a rookie.

Bond played in less than 50% of total offensive snaps in 2025 and was still able to gain 338 receiving yards on 18 receptions. Depending on how Todd Monken uses him in 2026, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him have a better season statistically than one of the Browns’ two rookie receivers.

What are your thoughts on Isaiah Bond’s outlook for 2026?
