The Baltimore Ravens<\/a> and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield<\/a> announced they are now accepting applications for the 2026 \u201cHuddle Up for Health\u201d grant program, which will award up to $50,000 to a Maryland nonprofit organization focused on mental health support and community wellness initiatives.<\/p>\n

Now entering its fourth year, the initiative continues the longstanding partnership between the Ravens and CareFirst while expanding efforts focused on behavioral health awareness, health equity, and community wellness throughout Maryland. According to the announcement, the selected nonprofit organization will not only focus on behavioral health support but also address broader social, economic, and environmental factors that impact overall community health.<\/p>\n

Ravens’ director of community relations, Kelly Tallant, emphasized the importance of continuing to support organizations working directly within the mental health space.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Baltimore Ravens remain deeply committed to supporting behavioral health at the community level. By confronting mental health challenges directly, the Ravens and CareFirst are helping to build a healthier, more compassionate future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Previous recipients of the grant program include Nexus-Woodbourne Family Healing, Roberta\u2019s House and Young Successful Leaders Incorporated, all of which received funding to help support youth recovery, grief counseling and trauma-focused programming.<\/p>\n

CareFirst Chief Marketing Officer Mack McGee said the partnership continues to focus on improving awareness and access to behavioral health resources across Maryland communities.<\/p>\n

Applications for the 2026 Huddle Up for Health grant program are open through Friday, June 26, 2026. The selected nonprofit organization will also be recognized during an upcoming Ravens home game.<\/p>\n
