Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/coach\/mario-cristobal-133857\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mario Cristobal<\/a> and his staff have secured another major piece for the future of the defense.<\/p>\n<p>Following his official visit this weekend, four-star linebacker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/noah-glover-249773\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Noah Glover<\/a> committed to Miami, giving the Hurricanes another big win on the recruiting trail.<\/p>\n<p>The Haymarket (Va.) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/high-school\/battlefield-haymarket-va-22210\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Battlefield<\/a> standout, ranked No. 199 in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/rankings\/industry-player\/football\/2027\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rivals Industry Ranking<\/a>, had been to Miami multiple times before making his decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been to Miami three times now, so I\u2019ve really had the chance to get comfortable with everything down there,\u201d Glover told Rivals. \u201cThe environment is amazing. Living in Coral Gables, being around the campus, the energy, the people \u2014 it\u2019s just a great vibe overall. It feels like home every time I\u2019m there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/join\/?utm_source=publisher&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=subscriber_referral&amp;ref=33\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">[ $19.99 gets you a FULL year of On3 | Rivals national coverage ]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Glover arrived in the 305 thinking he could leave a Hurricane, but the weekend removed any remaining doubt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did come into the visit thinking there was a strong chance I was going to commit,\u201d he said. \u201cBut after spending more time with the players and coaches, it really became a no-doubter for me. Everything just felt right.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe biggest highlights were spending time with the team, talking more with the coaches and really seeing how much they care about development on and off the field. It was a great visit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several factors pushed Miami over the top.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome of the biggest reasons I chose Miami were the smaller class sizes, the focus on life after football, the opportunity to play on one of the biggest stages in college football and being able to play for Coach Cristobal and Coach Hetherman,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>With his decision made, Glover will take no more visits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m shutting it down now,\u201d he said. \u201cMiami is where I want to be, so I won\u2019t be taking any more visits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The opportunity to be part of what Miami is building under Cristobal was impossible to pass up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, everything excites me,\u201d Glover said. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to be surrounded by great players, compete every day, learn from everybody around me and represent the University of Miami in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Miami have been looking to add playmakers at linebacker this spring.
