Stroud, however, made it clear he thinks he has earned it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI let my agent handle it and if it\u2019s time to do it then it is,\u201d Stroud said. My job is football. That\u2019s what I focus on, getting better. I think I\u2019ve held my bargain up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Confident: Texans star quarterback CJ Stroud believes that he&#8217;s earned an extension from the Texans.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I let my agent handle it and if it&#8217;s time to do it then it is. He only threw for 3,041 yards, and was intercepted four times in Houston\u2019s playoff loss to New England. There were even some rumors that Stroud might be traded this offseason, though the team <a href=\"https:\/\/larrybrownsports.com\/football\/texans-cj-stroud-trade-rumors-response\/742770\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was quick to shut those down<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stroud is probably too good to let walk, but questions remain about whether he is a true franchise quarterback.
