GIANTS SIGN BECKHAM<\/p>\n
One of the Steelers\u2019 biggest priorities this offseason was upgrading their wide receiver room. They did so, trading for Michael Pittman Jr. and drafting Germie Bernard in the second round. However, they could still use more depth at the position. Odell Beckham Jr. was one veteran free agent who\u2019s been loosely linked<\/a> to the Steelers, mostly because of Aaron Rodgers. He\u2019s now off the market, though.<\/p>\n NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on X<\/a> that the New York Giants signed Beckham. They originally drafted Beckham in 2014, and he played for them for five seasons. Now, he\u2019s back with the Giants, although he\u2019s not the same player that he once was. It remains to be seen if he\u2019ll stick on their 53-man roster.<\/p>\n Reunion: The #Giants<\/a> are bringing back WR Odell Beckham Jr, as their former standout returns, per me and @MikeGarafolo<\/a>.<\/p>\n Beckham, 33, recently worked out again for the team that drafted him, paid him, then traded him. Due to injuries, Porter saw action in an actual NFL game, playing in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions. However, they released him before the season ended, and Porter joined the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, the Bills recently waived Porter, as KPRC2\u2019s Aaron Wilson posted on Twitter.<\/a> Porter entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Bills last year. They seemed to like him enough to bring him back for a second stint, but they\u2019ve let him go again.
