The linebacker led the NFL with 173 tackles. That’s not bad at all for a former seventh-round pick, right?

Safety Nick Cross could also make his first Pro Bowl. The Maryland native is coming off a breakout season and has a bright future in Indy. Zach Hicks of Sports Illustrated wrote about that:

“Cross churned out a productive season in his first full year as a starter, notching 140 total tackles, 39 stops, two pass breakups, three interceptions, and a forced fumble. Statistically, this is about as good as it gets for a strong safety, but there is even another step that this young player can take in a new system. The sky is still the limit for a player with his athletic upside, and the Colts are on the verge of unlocking what Cross can truly become.”

Sure, Cross could have another great season. Here’s a look at three other Colts who could be All-Stars for the first time.

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo (85) is tackled by Indianapolis Colts safety Nick Cross (20), Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jaylon Carlies (57) and Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jaylon Jones (40) on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, during a game against the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Three Indianapolis Colts Players Who Could Make Their First Pro Bowl in 2025
Anthony Richardson

Wait, does that say Anthony Richardson? Do you mean the same Anthony Richardson who many people consider a bust? Yes, you read that right. Richardson, the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, hasn’t had a great career so far. He’s been hampered by injuries and has struggled to throw the football accurately. However, don’t be surprised if he finally has a healthy season with the Colts in 2025. And don’t be surprised if he makes his first Pro Bowl and silences all his haters.

Alec Pierce

Speaking of busts, Alec Pierce was once considered one. But that was until last season. In 2024, Pierce had a breakout season with the Colts. The wide receiver out of Cincinnati caught 37 passes for 824 yards and seven touchdowns. Pierce also led the league was 22.3 yards per reception. He is set to become a free agent in 2026. And you know how it is when players have a contract year. Expect Pierce to step up even more in 2025. Making his first Pro Bowl is certainly not out of the question.

Tyler Warren

The Colts drafted Tyler Warren 14th overall in this year’s draft. That means he hasn’t played an NFL game yet. He hasn’t even played a preseason game yet. With that said, no one knows for sure if he can be a good NFL player. However, Warren has the potential to become a superstar tight end and help save Anthony Richardson’s career. Last season at Penn State, he caught 104 passes for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns. As a result, he received the John Mackey Award. The award is given every year to college football’s most outstanding tight end. In 2024, fellow tight end Brock Bowers made the Pro Bowl as a rookie with the Las Vegas Raiders. Warren can be just as good as Bowers was. So, therefore, it’s not insane to think he can make the Pro Bowl in 2025.

Main Photo: Grace Hollars/IndyStar-USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Which Indianapolis Colts players will become first-time Pro Bowlers in 2025?
