The media can be far too quick to judge draft classes. Yes, I am also susceptible to handing out grades right after a draft, and not following up down the line, but it is interesting to look back on grades or to potentially re-draft a class.<\/p>\n

CBS Sports looked back to the loaded 2023 NFL Draft<\/a> class and did a full, first-round re-draft, and the Minnesota Vikings<\/a> would stay at wide receiver but land someone new.<\/p>\n

According to Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports, the Vikings pass on Jordan Addison<\/a>, who would be taken 31st overall by the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>, to select Jayden Reed<\/a>, a current Green Bay Packer<\/a>. The issue with Reed is the injury bug, which is why this selection is very questionable. Players Minnesota could have gone in this exercise are guys like Steve Avila<\/a> (G), Keeanu Benton<\/a> (DT), Joey Porter Jr.<\/a> (CB), or O’Cyrus Torrence (G).<\/p>\n

I believe that all four of these players would be better than Reed in this spot, but that’s the beauty of a re-draft.<\/p>\n
