The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> announced a roster move on Thursday after the completion of their final week of OTAs (organized team activities), ending the voluntary part of the offseason program. They added veteran safety Isaiah Oliver<\/a> and released kicker Joshua Karty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Oliver has been in the league since 2018, when he was drafted in the second round by the Atlanta Falcons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He is a Phoenix, Arizona<\/a>, native and played high school ball at Brophy.<\/p>\n

He spent his first five NFL seasons with the Falcons, playing mostly cornerback. He followed that up with a season with the San Francisco 49ers<\/a> in 2023 and the last two years with the New York Jets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last season, he played in 14 games before a knee injury ended his season, starting twice. He logged 55 total tackles and broke up three passes. He played 322 defensive snaps for the Jets and a career-high 300 snaps on special teams.<\/p>\n

In his career, he has played 1,059 snaps on special teams and collected 25 special teams tackles.<\/p>\n

He joins a safety room that includes Budda Baker<\/a>, Rabbit Taylor-Demerson, Andrew Wingard<\/a>, Joey Blount<\/a>, Kitan Crawford<\/a> and rookie Wydett Williams Jr.<\/p>\n
