Bucs WR Jalen McMillan<\/a> admitted that he wondered if his neck would ever heal properly and allow him to play again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to sit in my bed and wonder, \u2018Is my neck going to heal correctly?\u201d McMillan said, via the team\u2019s website<\/a>. \u201cSo, as soon as I was given the opportunity to play again, I knew that I could not look back and there was no time to be nervous and no time to be thinking about anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bucs WR\u00a0Emeka Egbuka<\/a> and McMillan engaged in a third-down battle; the two are continuously pushing each other this offseason.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe push each other every day and me and Emeka have a third-down competition right now to see who can get the most catches and we tied so we both have to do pushups,\u201d McMillan laughed.<\/p>\n

Falcons HC Kevin Stefanski said he\u2019s been impressed with TE Kyle Pitts<\/a> and said that he\u2019s been focused on being the best possible version of himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s trying to be the best version of himself \u2013 to be the most complete player at his position,\u201d Stefanski, via Falcons Wire<\/a>. \u201cObviously, he\u2019s had some great, great moments in his young career and we\u2019re trying to build off of those. And also, like any player, there\u2019s always things you can work on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saints QB Tyler Shough<\/a> commented on getting comfortable in his first year as the full-time starter ahead of OTAs and has drawn praise from RB Alvin Kamara<\/a> for the swagger he brings to the position.<\/p>\n

\u201c[We] kind of tweak what we may call certain things, and then also kind of tear, tailor it to, how we\u2019re trying to attack defenses this year, and that was really cool to see throughout this install process in OTAs, and Phase 2,\u201d Shough said, via ESPN<\/a>. \u201cThere was a self-evaluation from my part and what I can work on, footwork-wise, and setting the pocket, and then also offensively, and how we can kind of get better there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, he\u2019s mature. He got some swag to him,\u201d Kamara noted on Shough. \u201cThere\u2019s this lightheartedness about his game and his approach that like, \u2018He works his ass off, but he also doesn\u2019t take himself too serious.\u2019 \u2026 I think he deals with it well. If there\u2019s some criticism, he don\u2019t shy away from it, but he don\u2019t let it pierce his heart. And if there\u2019s some praise, he takes it and keeps moving.\u201d<\/p>\n
