Will New York Giants<\/a> coach John Harbaugh win the 2026 AP NFL Coach of the Year award?<\/p>\n

Coach Harbaugh is entering his first season with the Giants in 2026. The Ohio native served as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> from 2008 to 2025 before agreeing to take over in New York. Harbaugh previously won the AP Coach of the Year award in 2019 and is considered a strong candidate to claim the honor for a second time in his career.<\/p>\n

DAZN\u2019s Jason Abbey, in his predictions for the NFL\u2019s 2026 end-of-season awards<\/a>, projects Harbaugh to win AP Coach of the Year honors in his debut season with the team.<\/p>\n

The squad looks stronger on paper, assuming the injury luck improves.<\/p>\n

Jaxson Dart<\/a>, Cam Skattebo<\/a> and Malik Nabers<\/a> all missed significant time last season, and with Francis Mauigoa, Arvell Reese and Tremaine Edmunds<\/a> among the new arrivals, there’s a solid case that the Giants are being underestimated.<\/p>\n

The talent is in place for coach Harbaugh to make an immediate impact in New York. His Super Bowl-winning experience should pay significant dividends for the team next season. The NFC East is not guaranteed to be claimed by the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> or Dallas Cowboys<\/a>.<\/p>\n
