{"id":915372,"date":"2026-06-10T19:27:15","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T19:27:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/915372\/"},"modified":"2026-06-10T19:27:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T19:27:15","slug":"washington-commanders-ready-for-new-season-with-team-dog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/915372\/","title":{"rendered":"Washington Commanders ready for new season with team dog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/washington-commanders\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"8771\">Washington Commanders<\/a> are starting the season on a paw-sitive note with the announcement of their new team dog, TJ.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>TJ, a 12-week-old yellow Labrador retriever puppy, is joining the team to work on becoming a service dog, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.commanders.com\/news\/commanders-welcome-team-dog-partnership-redwire\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Through the Commanders\u2019 partnership with Redwire, a drone technology partner for the team, TJ\u2019s service dog training will serve as a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/military\/\">military<\/a> engagement effort.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commanders posted the announcement on <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Commanders\/status\/2064741428929171564\">X on Wednesday.<\/a><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Introducing our new team dog \ud83d\udc3e<\/p>\n<p>Meet TJ, a 12-week-old yellow Labrador Retriever puppy from <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/WarriorCanineCn?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@WarriorCanineCn<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Washington Commanders (@Commanders) <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Commanders\/status\/2064741428929171564?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 10, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TJ comes from the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/maryland\/\">Maryland<\/a> nonprofit organization Warrior Canine Connection.
