Trevor Lawrence and his wife, Marissa Layne Lawrence, revealed Marissa is pregnant with baby No. 2<\/p>\n

The NFL star and his spouse are expecting a baby boy<\/p>\n

The couple, who have known each other since fifth grade, are already mom and dad to a daughter named Shae Lynn<\/p>\n

Trevor Lawrence<\/a> and his wife Marissa Layne Lawrence<\/a> are becoming a family of four!<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, June 10, the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, 26, and Marissa, also 26, announced via social media that Marissa is pregnant with their second child.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe four of us \ud83e\uddf8\ud83e\ude75Thank you Jesus for our baby boy!!,\u201d she captioned a joint Instagram video<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They made their big reveal with a sweet video of Lawrence and Marissa walking on a beach with their daughter, Shae Lynn, who was born in January 2025. In one part of the clip, Shae Lynn held her mom’s ultrasound photos.<\/p>\n

Other scenes show the family picking up seashells, Shae Lynn laughing while being tossed into the air and the trio posing together as Marissa showed off her baby bump.<\/p>\n

Marissa seemingly discovered she was going to be a boy mom during the shoot, as the video documented the NFL star choosing a blue floral arrangement instead of a pink one after reading a note.<\/p>\n

Their dialogue was masked by a song, but Marissa appeared surprised after Lawrence read from the message and gave her the blue bouquet.<\/p>\n

The former Clemson University athlete was the No. 1 pick during the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft<\/a>. He married Marissa just weeks ahead of the annual event.<\/p>\n

The two met at Cartersville High School and started dating in 2016, WJAX<\/a> reported. They got engaged in July 2020 after Lawrence popped the question while using the Clemson field as a backdrop.<\/p>\n

“FOREVER,” he wrote in an Instagram<\/a> post announcing the engagement. “You’re everything I’ve dreamed of. I love you and can’t wait to marry you.”<\/p>\n

When the couple welcomed Shae Lynn last year, Lawrence praised Marissa for delivering a 10-pound baby.<\/p>\n

“She was not a small baby, so Marissa’s a champ,” Lawrence told PEOPLE<\/a> in February 2025. “Seeing her go through that, and now she’s recovered and feeling great \u2014 it’s pretty amazing to see your partner go through that.”<\/p>\n

PEOPLE also caught up with Lawrence ahead of Valentine’s Day 2026, when he opened up on how he knew Marissa was the one since they met in the fifth grade.<\/p>\n

“We’ve seen each other grow up, and I think that’s a really cool thing. And she’s seen the best and worst of me, and she stuck around. I’m thankful for that,\u201d Lawrence told PEOPLE<\/a> in February.<\/p>\n

“Just to have her in my corner, I think, is so important,” he added of his wife. “I wouldn’t know what to do if I didn’t have her, you know, just so much of our life. She manages everything so well. I think it takes a special person to do what she does and to have to kind of balance all the craziness that we go through.”<\/p>\n
