(WBBJ) &#8211; An NFL star returns to the Hub City to host his third Annual Football Camp. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jackson native and Kansas City Chiefs two-time Super Bowl Champion, Trey Smith, has his third Annual Football Camp coming to USJ Friday and Saturday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cYou know, I think about my development and how I was recruited. Football camps were a huge part of that. I looked up to a lot of players from this area like Al Wilson, Artis Hicks, Avery Williamson and obviously Trey Teague who went to USJ as well,\u201d said Smith.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Trey Smith Football Camp\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HBZMN3YPS5COJNBQ5C37SPOP34.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"544\" \/>Trey Smith Football Camp(Gray News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Smith will bring local Tennessee stars as well as collegiate teammates and surprise NFL guests to aid kids from second grade all the way to rising high school seniors in improving their game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cIt\u2019s almost like a reunion of sorts. I invite some of my closest friends, collegiate teammates, but also just seeing old high school coaches, seeing some of my former high school teammates and everyone getting together and being back at USJ is sort of a reminder, a little bit of nostalgia if you will, just being back in the community of Jackson and being positive in the community as well and helping out kids and really just having a good time being back at your stomping grounds,\u201d said Smith.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tonight\u2019s session will be for kids in seventh through 12th grade from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. The Saturday morning session will be held for kids in second through sixth grade from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Trey Smith Football Camp\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/OFWDPBE32JDRJC6BO5OSCQO44A.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"547\" \/>Trey Smith Football Camp(Gray News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cFor me, being around kids in this community giving them a little something to achieve to inspire I\u2019ve had a lot of success, god willing, more to come, but just giving kids the opportunity to meet somebody. You know, we don\u2019t have an NFL team in Jackson, Tennessee,\u201d said Smith.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">All of the proceeds from the camp will go to benefit the Smith Legacy Foundation and United Way of West Tennessee to support families across the region who truly need it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The camp will feature football drills, free meals, swag bags, and more.
