Former Cleveland Browns All-Pro edge rusher Myles Garrett<\/a> left the AFC North earlier this month, via a trade to the Los Angeles Rams. Another blockbuster trade involving an AFC North star could occur in 2027, according to NFL insider Jason La Canfora<\/a>.<\/p>\n

La Canfora thinks Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson could be dealt to Philadelphia, depending how things unfold for both teams in 2026. The Eagles are willing to do whatever it takes to win another Super Bowl. And quarterback Jalen Hurts might not be a part of that equation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s led to a strong sense around the league that, as difficult as it can be to find a calibre of quarterback who can win big in the postseason, the Eagles will be willing to do whatever is possible if need be,\u201d La Canfora wrote. \u201cThere is a chance that a two-time MVP like Lamar Jackson becomes available in trade, and the 2027 quarterback draft class is earning strong early reviews, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger<\/a> is not high on the trajectory of the Ravens. Despite being the Super Bowl favorites at the beginning of last season, the Ravens finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Roethlisberger believes the Super Bowl window for the Ravens has closed. If that is the case, Jackson leaving Baltimore certainly could be in the cards. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think they\u2019re falling apart. I don\u2019t think they\u2019re the same team\u2026They just feel different. They feel like their window closed,\u201d Roethlisberger said on his Footbahlin<\/a> podcast. \u201cTo me, losing [John] Harbaugh, King Henry\u2019s a year older, his body\u2019s taking a beating, what\u2019s was going on with Lamar last year? He just didn\u2019t seem like the Lamar that we\u2019ve been used to seeing\u201d<\/p>\n

This is not the first time that Roethlisberger has expressed skepticism of the Ravens.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would\u2019ve said Baltimore with Lamar Jackson and that, but I think their window is closing. Obviously, Cleveland isn\u2019t in the conversation. Cincinnati, I like what Joe [Burrow] does and their offense is really good, but they don\u2019t care about their defense or anything there,\u201d Roethlisberger said<\/a> on the Deebo & Joe podcast in April. \u201cI would say Pittsburgh [would win the division].\u201d<\/p>\n
