(FOX Carolina) &#8211; A Gaffney native now playing in the NFL returned home to help the next generation of athletes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">More than 100 young players took part in a free football camp hosted by Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins at Gaffney High School.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The former Gaffney standout led drills, shared tips and spent time getting to know the kids who look up to him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI feel like I wouldn\u2019t be who I am if I didn\u2019t pour back into these kids and back into this community that made me,\u201d Ingram-Dawkins said. \u201cI feel like if I didn\u2019t go through that chapter of being from Gaffney and growing up here and playing in this stadium in front of all of these fans that I wouldn\u2019t be able to make it to my position. I want to just do my job and give back to the kids and just give them hope and give them motivation that they can do exactly what I\u2019m doing today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ingram-Dawkins said he is thankful to be back in the community that helped him reach the NFL and hopes to inspire young athletes to chase their own dreams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Feel more informed, prepared, and connected with FOX Carolina.
