When the offseason programs shift to mandatory soon, fines will become a part of the process for the likes of Trey Hendrickson, Germaine Pratt and even first-round pick Shemar Stewart.<\/p>\n RELATED:\u00a0Bengals rookie Shemar Stewart remains out with contract dispute<\/a><\/p>\n As explained by Spotrac, the fine process for training camp means players on veteran contracts will surrender $50,000 per day, while rookies will get docked $40,000 per day. That’s a baseline number, too, depending on contract details and some workout bonuses are even impacted during voluntaries.<\/p>\n Of course, these will hurt players on an individual basis. Somebody like Hendrickson probably isn’t sweating waving off these penalties in the name of keeping his holdout leverage — with the knowledge he’ll make it all back and then some on a new extension.
