A year after not having any players named on the NFL’s annual top-100 list, the New Orleans Saints were the first team with a player listed in the 2026 edition. As voted on by his peers, defensive end Cam Jordan was ranked the 100th-best player across the league from the 2025 season. Even with the veteran edge rusher expected to ride off into the sunset following his 16th professional season this year, it is clear that his teammates and fellow NFL players still respect and admire Jordan.

Whether you remember him for his ever-changing hairstyles, signature “levelz” celebration, or uber-positive attitude in press conferences and interviews, Cam Jordan has made his lasting mark on both the NFL and the city of New Orleans.

Jordan finished 2025 with 32 solo tackles, two pass deflections, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and ten and a half sacks. Last year marked the seventh season in his career in which Jordan reached double-digit sacks. He currently sits at 132 career sacks, good enough for 17th all-time and the most by an active player. If Cam can produce another ten-sack season in 2026, that mark would move him up to at the very least the top seven in league history, passing the great Jason Taylor.

Regardless of where Jordan finishes on that list, he has left no doubt of how impactful his play has been for the Saints and is truly deserving of a spot in the NFL Hall of Fame once he hangs up the cleats for good. There will be time for sap stories and celebrations come season’s end, but for now Cam’s focus is set on delivering New Orleans to a postseason bid as he flaunts the black and gold colors once more.

[2076
7,896,55,65685,84861,401,2572,2571,6,397
post-926702","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-orleans-saints","tag-football","tag-new-orleans","tag-new-orleans-saints","tag-new-orleans-saints-analysis","tag-new-orleans-saints-player-review","tag-new-orleans-saints-news","tag-neworleans","tag-neworleanssaints","tag-nfl","tag-saints
["GET
