They traded for Dexter Lawrence, signed Boye Mafe, Bryan Cook, Jonathan Allen, and added a handful of talented rookies in the NFL Draft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">They did sign free agent corner Ja\u2019Sir Taylor, but it seems they have opted for Dax Hill and DJ Turner to continue as the team\u2019s outside corners, and both are entering contract years, Hill playing on his fifth-year option.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">However, that could soon be changing if you place a lot of importance on the Instagram post by Hill\u2019s agent, Andre Odom, who wrote, \u201cCB1 Calculated.\u201d Turner then shared the post to his own story.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">If you want to be optimistic, and with the way this offseason has gone, there\u2019s no reason not to be optimistic, you could take this as \u201cthe Bengals and Turner have agreed to terms on an extension, and all there is left to do is cross the T\u2019s and dot the I\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">If that\u2019s the case, then the Bengals have locked up their top young corner down for multiple seasons. The only corners currently on the roster after the 2026 season are Tacario Davis, Josh Newton, and Ceyair Wright, so locking down either Hill or Turner before they even have a chance to sniff free agency is important.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Hopefully, we\u2019ll get official news soon, which will give us something to celebrate\/talk about over the summer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">While the Bengals work to extend Turner, they\u2019ll also look to work out new deals for fellow cornerback Dax Hill and running back Chase Brown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">If it comes down to it, would you choose Hill or Brown to receive a contract extension?<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">66% of Bengals Reacts voters said they\u2019d side with Hill, while 34% went with Brown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Cincinnati Bengals did some heavy lifting this offseason in reshaping the defense.
