Jets LT Olu Fashanu<\/a> said OC Frank Reich inspired confidence in him after the positional meeting, and he\u2019s excited to play for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy the end of every unit meeting, he has me feeling like I can run through a wall,\u201d Fashanu said via the team\u2019s website<\/a>. \u201cJust having a guy like that as the coordinator, it\u2019s definitely a good feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reich added that the line as a whole is strong and he doesn\u2019t see any weaknesses personnel-wise up front.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re really physically talented,\u201d Reich said. \u201cThey know what we\u2019re trying to do. I sense a real consistency among the group and the right mentality. There is no weak link up there, mentally or physically.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fashanu talked about G Dylan Parham<\/a>, who figures to slide into the left guard spot vacated by G John Simpson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d say the biggest thing from him is just how hard of a worker he is,\u201d Fashanu said of Parham who signed with the Jets in free agency after four seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders. \u201cAny time you see him in the weight room, he\u2019s just working, and same thing on the field. We\u2019ve built a pretty good partnership on the left side, we communicate well with each other between every play.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Jets signed veteran LB Demario Davis<\/a> this offseason, which marks his second stint with the team after playing for the organization in 2017. New York DC Brian Duker said he\u2019s been impressed by Davis so far in their offseason program.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve seen him win the Man of the Year award, and I figured he\u2019s a great dude, but I haven\u2019t had a chance to interact with him day to day, so he\u2019s been everything as advertised and more. I\u2019ve really enjoyed that about working with Double-D,\u201d Duker said, via the team\u2019s official X.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Patriots HC Mike Vrabel expressed his excitement for the EDGE rushing group, citing specifically the addition of Dre\u2019Mont Jones<\/a> and the development of Elijah Ponder<\/a> and Bradyn Swinson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, that\u2019s a good group. I\u2019m excited about adding Dre'[Mont Jones], the development of [Elijah] Ponder and [Bradyn] Swinson,\u201d Vrabel said, via the team\u2019s website<\/a>. \u201cWe added [Jesse] Luketa and some young guys. Again, we\u2019ll continue to try to look at every position and make it stronger, but that group has done a nice job. Again, we\u2019ll continue to look at it, but we\u2019ll have to see where we are at numbers-wise, and when we get into training camp just how many guys you can rep, based on the practices.\u201d<\/p>\n
