The\u00a0Arizona Cardinals<\/a>\u00a0report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.<\/p>\n Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.<\/p>\n Here is running back Tyler Allgeier.<\/p>\n Tyler Allgeier background, 2025 season<\/p>\n Allgeier enters his first season with the Cardinals<\/a> after four years with the Atlanta Falcons. He then settled into a backup role to Bijan Robinson. Last season, he rushed for 514 yards and eight touchdowns.<\/p>\n Tyler Allgeier 2026 contract details, cap hit<\/p>\n Allgeier signed a two-year contract worth $12.25 million to join the Cardinals this offseason. He received a signing bonus of $5.5 million and will make $1.5 million in fully guaranteed salary. His cap hit in 2026 will be $4.35 million.<\/p>\n Questions he faces, 2026 roster outlook<\/p>\n Allgeier is a lock to make the roster. He was signed initially to presumably be the starting running back. However, when the Cardinals drafted Jeremiyah Love third overall, his outlook is a little different.<\/p>\n The question facing him is what role he will have \u2014 will he be the No. 1 guy and the starter or will the two backs be co-lead backs?
