Broncos CB Riley Moss<\/a> is heading into the final year of his contract but says he isn\u2019t giving it much thought at this point, believing things will work out the way they are meant to.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest, no. It\u2019ll\u00a0handle itself\u00a0out like it always has,\u201d Moss said, via Parker Gabriel of the\u00a0Denver Post<\/a>. \u201cI trust in God, and I trust in myself, and I\u2019m just going to go out, do my thing, continue to do my thing, and the rest will take care of itself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chargers CB Donte Jackson<\/a> earned a two-year deal with the Chargers after strong play with the Steelers. Jackson feels he is one of the league\u2019s best cornerbacks and is a team-first player, something he learned during his first four seasons with the Panthers.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust to\u00a0keep the foot on the pedal,\u201d Jackson said of his plans for the season, via Omar Navarro of the team website<\/a>. \u201cI feel like the last two seasons I\u2019ve emerged, to me personally, as one of the top corners in the league. That\u2019s just kind of how I feel, so just adding to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m team first, so I don\u2019t have a personal agenda,\u201d Jackson noted. \u201cI don\u2019t have any personal goals but to be the best teammate I could be. Just blessed to have a group of guys that share that same mindset. Nobody is selfish. Nobody has selfish goals.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chiefs cornerbacks Nohl Williams<\/a> and first-round pick Mansoor Delane will be competing to replace Pro Bowler Trent McDuffie<\/a>, who was traded to the Rams.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt gives me an opportunity to step up and try to fill their shoes,\u201d Williams said, via Nate Taylor of ESPN<\/a>. \u201cReally, the whole room has got to step up because those are two good guys. You know, I would be lying if [I said the coaching staff] don\u2019t expect a lot from me, but I\u2019m ready for it. I\u2019m going to keep preparing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor sure, [I\u2019m] way more comfortable than last year,\u201d Williams added. \u201cThe terminology is easier. It\u2019s more ingrained into my brain now, the scheme. The second year in the defense, you should catch on or you\u2019re not studying.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe jumped out on tape,\u201d DC Steve Spagnuolo said of Delane. \u201cWe all felt like he was the top corner in this class. I was really intrigued by his story. I think he could\u2019ve come out after his last year there at Virginia Tech \u2014 or thought about it. But the information that we gathered was that he wanted to be challenged a little bit more, so you go to LSU. That speaks volumes about a guy \u2014 and to have a really good year at LSU \u2014 so hopeful that he can be a good player for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI take pride in my cerebral part of the game,\u201d Delane said. \u201cI try to understand my alignment and my splits to help give me an advantage before the play even happens. You just try to eliminate routes. If it\u2019s a cut split or a wider split, there\u2019s only so many routes you can do. Eliminating the route tree makes the game easier.\u201d<\/p>\n
