Some Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> players are already over the team\u2019s pursuit of free agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers<\/a>, NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero says. <\/p>\n

According to Pelissero, Rodgers has still not given the Steelers a definitive answer, and as this has dragged along, some players are losing patience.<\/p>\n

“\u201cI have been told that he has not affirmatively told the Steelers that he\u2019s coming,\u201d Pelissero said during an appearance on\u00a0the\u00a0Rich Eisen Show<\/a>. \u201c… There\u2019s all these signs that he\u2019s coming but he has not affirmatively said \u2018Hey, June 9 book me the ticket. I\u2019m coming in and I\u2019m going to join this team.\u2019 That has not happened as of this point.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Steelers<\/a> have pursued Rodgers for two months, and there is some speculation that he could sign before mandatory minicamp. Yet, while there is all that speculation, the Steelers seemingly have no certain answer from Rodgers himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are people in that locker room who I believe would tell you they\u2019re already over this thing,\u201d Pelissero said. \u201cThey just wanna know what\u2019s going on. And they\u2019re sick of hearing about it, and they\u2019re sick of being asked about it. They don\u2019t want to discuss it anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his latest interview on the\u00a0Joe Rogan Experience<\/a>, Rodgers may have just revealed and hinted at the issues he hopes to resolve in his personal life.<\/p>\n

Rodgers said multiple people in his life are dealing with serious illnesses, including cancer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve figured it out during the last year when I\u2019ve been in the weeds with these people who are close to me that have cancer,\u201d\u00a0Rodgers said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That is taking a personal toll on Rodgers, who discussed non-conventional treatment options on the podcast. Still, he offered no certain timetable for a decision and seemed focused on his personal life first before anything else.<\/p>\n

Either way, Rodgers was the talk of the first OTAs session, and he has still yet to sign a deal.
