Bell was at an <a href=\"https:\/\/beldenvillagemall.com\/event\/autographs-at-prime-time-leveon-bell\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">autograph signing event at Belden Village Mall<\/a> in Canton shortly before he was arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the arrest record from Jackson Township Police Department as a \u201ccourtesy hold for another agency.\u201d Bell\u2019s photo initially did not appear on the inmate roster but was uploaded sometime Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Specific charges aren\u2019t yet known. Miller reported it was related to failure to pay child support, but we are unable to confirm. We contacted the Stark County Sheriff\u2019s office late Sunday night, but it was unable to provide additional details about Bell\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/steelersdepot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/BellArrest2.jpg\" data-slb-active=\"1\" data-slb-asset=\"1556120621\" data-slb-internal=\"0\" data-slb-group=\"934954\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-934975\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"\" width=\"461\" height=\"1024\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/BellArrest2-461x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bell played football about two hours south of where he was arrested Sunday afternoon, officially booked at 3:33 PM.<\/p>\n<p>This is not Bell\u2019s first run-in with the law since his playing career ended. He was also handed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/nfl\/news\/jury-orders-ex-nfl-player-leveon-bell-to-pay-25-million-in-damages-in-sexual-abuse-case\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">default judgment by a jury<\/a> after failing to appear in court for a sexual abuse case early in 2025 from a lawsuit initially filed in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Bell last played in the NFL in 2021 for both the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He flirted with an NFL comeback early last year but has instead focused his efforts into streaming video games, growing his social media presence online, and the occasional celebrity boxing match.<\/p>\n<p>Pittsburgh selected Bell in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. It wasn\u2019t long before he turned into one of the top running backs in the league. Bell and the Steelers could never agree on a contract extension, so they applied the franchise tag for two straight seasons, which resulted in a high-profile holdout. He skipped the 2018 season as a result, and his career never bounced back to All-Pro form.<\/p>\n<p>Le\u2019Veon Bell is not the only member from the Killer B\u2019s era to have legal issues since retiring from the NFL.
